Hemas Pharmaceuticals donates a fully- fledged Centrifuge Device to the Ratnapura Teaching Hospital Supporting the national cause in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic situation, Hemas Pharmaceuticals partnered with the All Island Private Pharmacy Owners Association (AIPPOA) to donate a fully- fledged Centrifuge Device to the Ratnapura Teaching Hospital which will complement the Hospital’s efforts in conducting PCR Tests to identify the Novel Corona Virus – COVID 19. The donation was presented to the Hon. Minister of Health, Pavithra Wanniarachchi recently in Pelmadulla, Ratnapura. Addressing the audience while inaugurating the Head Office of the All Island Private Pharmacy Owners Association (AIPPOA) in Pelmadulla , Hon. Minister expressed her gratitude to AIPPOA for coming together to help the public in the pandemic situation through home delivery of medicine. Ms. Kasturi Chellaraja Wilson on behalf of Hemas Pharmaceuticals also addressed the gathering and stressed the importance of moving forward as one body and working in unison for the betterment of the nation. Present at the event were Dr Anoj Rodrigo – Director Ratnapura Teaching Hospital , Dr Geetha Nanayakkara – Microbiologist , Dr Kapila Kannangara – Provincial Director , Mr Amith Perera – Chief Food Drug Inspector , Mr Chandika Gankanda – Chairman AIPPOA , industry personnel and other distinguished guests.
